Don’t grow up too fast. 2. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to be yet - you will figure it out 3. Be yourself. Don’t worry about what other people think. Special Feature: Ultimate Frisbee |
We are looking forward to another successful season of Ultimate Frisbee! Come out to try-outs on Wednesday nights from 6-8PM. Playing this co-ed sport will not only help to develop your disc handling skills, athleticism, defensive and offensive skills, but it’s also both competitive and a tons of fun! New recruits are always welcome and encouraged: Ladies we need you! Our season will consist of 4 tournaments throughout May and June, including GHAC finals right here at ND! I have always enjoyed coaching ultimate because I enjoy seeing students’ diverse talents beyond the classroom and seeing the camaraderie, sportsmanship and spirit that are such strong aspects of this sport. Great sport, great weather, GO IRISH! ~Ms. Kerwin

Special Feature: Boys Baseball Team |
In his 17th year of helping out with the team, he always looks forward to the practices and games. They always get a “good bunch of guys” who come out to play for the Irish every year. Mr. Shaw enjoys working with the boys alongside Mr. Pettipiece, and he especially likes his coaching style: every player deserves a chance to play. Through all their tough practices, triumphant wins and some small losses, he says they’ve been so fortunate to be able to go to OFSAA for the last 3 years. He even claims they’re kind of “spoiled” because they always do so well, but it’s really just about being with the kids and creating life memories. And of course, also because he loves keeping the stats.
